Update for Windows 10 won't install - Microsoft Community

my windows 10 has "failed install" cumulative update windows 10 version 1607 x64 -based systems (kb4014329) numerous times (starting first attempt on march 15 2017, , seemingly creating speed , reboot problems in computer.  pc shuts down try reinstall, has uninstall after another unsuccessful attempt.  steps should taken resolve issue?

one of many reasons error message missing or corrupted system files. suggest run system file checker tool repair missing or corrupted system files:

    1. type cmd in search box > select command prompt.

    2. type sfc /scannow.

    3. restart computer , try install update again.

if issue persists, can download windows update troubleshooter or follow steps fix windows update errors using dism or system update readiness tool.
