Windows Media Player - Microsoft Community

of sudden 1 day go open windows media player , won't open. nothing when click on it. try go music files via windows explorer open music way , pops message saying path not found ya di ya di ya da.....i did system restore , nothing changed. have little baby likes press keys on keyboard.....maybe why has happened?? can help?

the old saying "never work children or animals" applies pcs well! may little fingers did rather doubt it.

first thing check hasn't been disabled. go control panel - programs - turn windows features on/off;

it takes while list populate. check under 'media' wmp , ensure turned on.

if should run system file checker... details on webpage - follow instruction 8.1.
