my computer shut me out asp.net machine account has taken over - Microsoft Community

my account administrater , changed user. asp.net has taken over, , ask asp.net machine account. can 't in system.

to further address issue asp.net taking on device, kindly respond following questions:

1. have made changes before issue occurred?
2. have installed program related asp.net?
3. are .net developer?

if working asp.net development work must keep account, otherwise asp.net projects no longer function properly.

if developer , want disable password prompt, kindly follow these steps:

1. press windows key + r.
2. type control userpasswords2 (there space after control) , press enter.
3. uncheck option users must enter username , password use computer.
4. click apply, click ok.

you may boot computer in safe mode command prompt & enable default administrator account. here's how:

the advanced boot options menu lets start windows in advanced troubleshooting modes. may access menu turning on computer , pressing f8 key before windows starts.

1. after computer goes advanced boot option, select safe mode command prompt.
2. enter following command enable hidden administrator account
   • net user administrator /active:yes
3. after account enabled, new user account appear on sign in page.
4. once able computer logging default admin account, may give administrator privilege account , may remove asp.net account.

note: default admin account not have assigned password, should consider setting 1 improve account security.

after giving administrator privilege account , removing unwanted account, may disable default admin account. here's how:

1. type following command in command prompt:
   • net user administrator /active:yes
2. boot computer , check if issue still persists.
