fatal error C0000279 applying update operation - Microsoft Community

while when forced update laptop windows 10, fatal error occurred prevented machine booting up. took geek squad , unable fix, able revert pc before update occurred. turned off updates prevent future issues. recently, noticed several security uodates needed happen. thinking different, went ahead updates. upon restarting, receiving above error message , machine not reboot. please me, work home, , self employed , work on pc. thank in advance!
