Error C0000022 - Microsoft Community

i updating acer xc 603g desktop.  updates installing, got 97% , got "error c0000022 - 25,562 of 25,880 installed" message.  cannot boot computer, @ all. 

windows 8.1 came preinstalled no system disk, can't reboot that.  shift+f8 doesn't work, can't safe mode or system restore.

what can do?

since pc came windows 8.1, you'll need disc or thumb drive came pc. recommend checking troubleshooting steps provided geethu b on similar issue on thread.
