Windows 7 desktop will not access word or excel files on another - Microsoft Community

windows 7 main computer holds word & excel documents in public/my_word folder,
windows 10 laptops access word or excel documents.
window 7 desktop other main computer not connect word or excel file. 

can access .txt document on window 7 desktops fine.
@ 1 time worked great.  did windows update on main windows 7 computer
, when started having trouble other 2 desktop windows 7 computers
started hanging when accessing word or excel document. i running microsoft word 2010.

i don't know, sounds more of windows problem word (or excel) problem, best raise issue in 1 of windows forums

not windows share problem.

i think may registry problem.  using microsoft word 2010.
