hi guys

i followed advice shown on post.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/windows-10-crashed/dbe88f25-e572-4ef9-8fba-a7fa17744443

it says that:

"a new option has been added setup screen users reinstalling windows 10 on installed , activated system. if system has digital license attached it, windows 10 automatically upgraded: "

well, not see option & cannot proceed without entering licence key.

i upgraded windows 10 & worked until crapped had to clean install of windows 7 pro again & cannot upgrade.

please help!

thanks,

you should have option skip entering product key:

windows 10 setup prompt product key during installation couple times. click option 'i don't have key' , 'do later' if upgraded windows 7 or windows 8/8.1. if have windows 10 product key, can proceed enter it.

and

click do later.

are using windows 10 anniversary update (1607) or previous version such 1511 or 1507?

if reinstalling windows 7, must use media creation tool or boot windows 10 install media described above.

download media creation tool now

right click mediacreationtool.exe file click run administrator.

note: how verify if downloaded or installed windows 10 anniversary update

select option upgrade pc now if want upgrade right away, of if want download iso image or create bootable copy on usb thumb drive, choose create installation media pc then click next

a new option has been added setup screen users reinstalling windows 10 on installed , activated system. if system has digital license attached it, windows 10 automatically upgraded:

Windows / Windows 10 / Install, upgrade, & activate / PC
