Where to save my PC information - Microsoft Community

people tell me save everything.???  if my pc dies can still retrieve all information, pictures etc.???  how , where, on windows 8.1  can automatically every time type or update files.?????

not sure use , h ow go it.  easy setup ???

how backup files:

open file explorer taskbar > go the file/s wish save > right click on > hover mouse cursor on send to > select external hard drive or memory stick have plugged in save them to.

you can still use system image backup in windows 8/8.1.
