File History Folder - Microsoft Community

my file history folder extremely large. taking 177 gb.

i didn't know folder until noticed disk full.

what correct procedure cleaning up.  

windows 8.1 nothing windows xp.

"file history when enabled protects files within libraries, desktop, favorites, , contacts folders , creates copies of files."
