Windows Live Mail Won't Send Email - Microsoft Community
both our front desk email , work email accounts receiving emails , online not sending emails. sent emails go "outbox" , remain stuck there.
we have yellow warning triangles @ bottom right side of our email screens , of emails receiving show {disarmed} in front of subject.
we received an email oxford networks (see below) and contacted them. suggested resetting our server settings in order need a working "properties" button can't seem find.
therefore oxford suggested contact microsoft said there no phone assistance windows live mail , referred community questions page.
"per earlier notifications, hosting services migrated tonight. on tuesday morning logging new server email. please print out attached , use reconfigure email clients.

with mail application open, click accounts tab in tool bar, , click properties > click > advanced
please check outgoing server port smtp > specify 587 , click > ok

for microsoft outlook servers access ports 587 on smtp outgoing , 995 pop3 incoming, using windows live mail access. application handle imap port 993 ( if recall correctly ).
the isp provided mail account may have different settings tech support @ isp should provide, or mail account setup instructions may on website. (i checked , didn't see tutorial or instructions provided, if isp provided e-mail account tech support people should able tell port number settings required) isp provided account. port settings may differ microsoft uses on outlook servers.
the issue not 1 mail application need unavailable support more settings issue can resolve.
update: found isp e-mail setup tutorial , linked here below. port 465 isp using smtp outgoing setting isp provided e-mail account, issue port setting or related settings outgoing mail. leaving other settings mentioned before microsoft outlook webmail access, e-mail app since useful know. use both isp provided e-mail , outlook webmail account , port settings different each work within same e-mail app.
