Display does not cover screen - Microsoft Community

after installed windows 8.1 updates, display not cover screen. leaves wide band on each side of screen. have tried changing resolution. did not work. need figuring out try next. tried restore previous date , did not help. thanks.

sometimes microsoft gives updates 3rd party hardware: graphics, network adaptors, etc.

you should obtain latest drivers them actual hardware manufacturer's website, microsoft nor have latest drivers available microsoft relies of 3rd party hardware manufactuer supply them.

go either computer or graphics card manufacturer's website > drivers , download section > look computer or graphics card model number > operating system > windows 8.1 drivers it: either video / graphics / chipset (depending on wording there) > download , install drivers.
