Windows 10 is ignoring Group Policy and Patching the computer on its - Microsoft Community

windows 10 ignoring group policy , patching our computers on own.  we have centralized , controlled patch management solution allows tell each pc patches install , when.  (solarwinds)

windows 10 seems ignore settings apply in group policy.  it patches computers , reboots automatically causing serious frustration end user administration.

this undermines our patch management solution , policy have no control on patches being applied. , causing inconvenience end user randomly reboots computer.

how can stop behavior in windows 10 , make act our other machines (win 7 pro 64bit)

this reason corporate environments resistant migrate windows 10.  dear microsoft: can't disable controls os in corporate controlled environment.

-computer configuration | policies | administrative templates | windows components | windows update. locate configure automatic updates , "disable" it.
 
-computer configuration | policies | windows settings | security settings | system services. locate windows update, needs "not defined" or "enabled"
 
-user configuration | policies | administrative templates | windows components | windows update , enable setting remove access use windows update features, , under configure notifications want choose 0 - not show notifications

just consider, why aren't using windows 10 enterprise business? version more conducive being control group policy.

also might check solarwinds why software isn't controlling windows 10 pro should.
