Windows 7 goes to sleep even when synctoy backup running - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have set pc go sleep if no activity 30 minutes. suspending synctoy backup after have started manually.

is because sleep function monitors keyboard/mouse input , if there none puts pc sleep regardless of running?

if so, there alternative turning off sleep function?

retaining synctoy backup while pc on sleep mode depend on application settings directly. sleep functionality of windows designed let pc go sleep if there no ongoing activity, regardless of application active , running.
