Creating a recovery drive - Microsoft Community

i have new dell desktop computer running win 10. when attempt create recovery drive using 32gb sandisk flash-drive operation says "canceling" after loading 5.42gb of data. going on? i've tried twice. flash-drive formatted.

as initial step, suggest disconnect external device connected computer leaving mouse, keyboard, , flash drive want use recovery drive. suggest disabling antivirus temporarily. antivirus softwares known interfere recovery media creation since running background scan while files being converted.
