Multiple cumulative update failures for Windows 10 version 1607 - Microsoft Community

hello all

my problems numerous , have tried several solutions mentioned on here no avail.  purchased new laptop in october 2016 - windows 10 pre-installed.  windows loaded onto 128gb ssd - 'c' drive , there 'd' drive ntfs.

checking on update history find updates kb3201845 (december 2016), kb3206632 (december 2016) , kb3213986 (january 2017) have failed install , various times. 

as far can tell other microsoft updates have installed successfully.

some of things i've tried:

using windows update troubleshooting - appeared make no difference

downloading 'stand alone' updates , installing - failed

reset pc (keeping personal files) - failed

factory reset pc (remove files) - failed

return previous build - failed (no earlier build return to???)

followed solutions using command prompt - updates still fail

install windows 10 via microsoft's tool - fails during installation

obviously getting annoying ...... , point don't want let beat me  !

any suggestions of else try?

ok folks .... patience ran out

i ended doing clean install of windows, in deleted old files - incase of corruptions - , following installation ran windows update again , @ first attempt cumulative update install first time!

proof in th epudding come when microsoft issue next cumulative update.
