Help with error 0x800705b4 - Microsoft Community

my laptop computer running windows 10 crashed. had old computer backup dating oct 2015. ran backup , computer working. still running windows 10 version oct 2015. when run windows update of security updates until date (4/28/17). windows can not update due to
0x800705b4. can please offer me solution fix issue?

there number of reasons why encounter error. suggest follow steps below:

1. open windows settings , click update & security.

2. click advanced options.

3. uncheck option give me updates other microsoft products when update windows.

4. restart system. afterwards, try run windows update again. may need repetitively check latest updates until installed.

once updates installed, go windows update settings , check give me updates other microsoft products when update windows option. then, check latest updates again.

let know if resolves issue or not can troubleshoot further.
