KB4015217 update causes Windows Settings/Update&Security to - Microsoft Community

uninstalling kb4015217 fixes problem, have disable update service stop reloading. not plan future ms updates. running w10 home on acer laptop aspire 7551, mcu amd phenom ll  x4 n970, 4gb ddr3. update & security panel non-functional difficult perform recovery. please note complete refresh done took on an  hour , again once kb4015217 was installed problem came back  our newer desktop asus w10 home intel core i3 work ok update , settings menu. ms might consider moving recovery stuff out of update panel separate menu.

upon checking acer's website, available driver acer aspire 7551 windows 7. if case, there may compatibility concern computer , windows 10 why you're experiencing issue. computer may running fine previous updates of windows 10 but, based on post, seems limit of acer aspire 7551 version or update before kb4015217. if attempt download kb4015217 update or other future updates, may experience more concern on computer. recommend contact acer double check if computer compatible windows 10 , further assist concern.
