Getting a workstation and a domain controller trust relationship - Microsoft Community

here situation. while workstation part of domain had logged out , workstation backed up. couple of weeks later needed files workstation. after restoring workstation tried log in , when tried connect domain controller got message trust no longer established server , local administrator password unknown.

when checked on domain controller , workstation no longer existed on it. there way can workstation trusted domain controller can log on network credentials.

this might caused changes made after logging out of domain. isolate issue , provide best resolution possible, need following information:

• were there recent changes before issue happened?
• is home or business use?
• is system restore point enabled on system?
