Windows 10 Activation Error (0xC004F012) after a PC Reset - Microsoft Community

hello,

did pc reset , after don't have windows 10 activated longer. gives error code of 0xc004f012.

problem laptop came windows in , appears have digital license in it.

trouble shooting (as shown in attached picture) verifies there is  windows 10 home digital license device. can see tells me install windows 10 home.

frankly don't understand wants me do, because running windows 10 home except not activated despite having valid digital license.

unfortunately didn't link hotmail account pc either because wanted startup without password (now regret).

so, please if can provide me a solution activate windows digital license in this.

you've got digital license, 1 think windows activate. but...

(a) matter how got license?

     didn't upgrade or buy the store - windows store.

(b) in article mention license must "linked microsoft account"...

can it needs linked? (i dimly recall reading somewhere.)
