i can not figure or understand instructions download pictures canon camera pc

the simplest way buy sd card reader.  bought several $3 each.  looks lot regular usb thumb drive.

remove memory card canon camera, slide sd card reader, insert sd card reader usb slot on computer.

in moment or so, pop window.  @ point behaves usb stick.  can move or copy pictures computer folder choose.  can erase (delete) pictures on sd card.  which, way faster deleting them inside camera.

this way, not need install confusing , frankly lousy canon software or connect camera computer.  means if carry reader camera, can copy pictures computer choose without installing software on it.  handy when travelling.
