Internet access through hotel routers - Microsoft Community

hi, please. on several occasion have been unable access internet through hotel routers using laptop running w8.1. router signal strength good, shows 'limited' access , cannot access internet. using control panel functions investigate messages such 'windows can't communicate device (primary dns server)'. doing wrong?

  • have checked if typing correct wi-fi password?
  • are able connect other wi-fi connection?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done fix issue?
