I Can't Uninstall a Bluetooth Device - Microsoft Community


hi.
have laptop windows 8.1 [x64] (built 9600) , have pair of bluetooth headsets hands-free (the headphones x-kim goal-bt) , want uninstall them system. did normal procedure, go setings / pc settings , devices / bluetooth, clicked on device , clicked remove device, then "removing device" appears usual, appears "error on remove", repeated process see if worked, no, system still did not uninstalled earphones.
went control panel / hardware , sound / devices , printers, select device right click , remove device, shows again "error remove".
proceeded open device manager, , uninstall drivers manually (they several since bluetooth device in question want uninstall works headphones , handsfree there more 1 driver uninstall). uninstalled successfully. proceeded turn off bluetooth on pc since not using it, turn off pc.
after while turned on again continue working , wanted pair device, turned on bluetooth of pc match device new, turn on bluetooth, device x-kim goal-bt (which device uninstalled while ago) reappeared in list of devices, strange thing appeared connected, though if headphones not me @ time , turned off, check on audio devices moment , headphones appeared in list, did not appear connected, returned pc configuration , checked back, headphones appeared paired @ least indicated headphones paired system, not active, check drivers , , device in question still there (although had uninstalled clarified earlier). repeated previous process uninstall everithing, turn off bluetooth, turned on, , device reappeared paired again. manually uninstalled everithing third time , uninstalled bluetooth driver pc leave no trace of bluetooth devices on system, hoping if did remove device has been paired before on pc. finally, reinstall intel wireless bluetooth (which bluetooth driver) installation finished successfully, restart system usual after completing installation, after reboot went again to pc configuration , devices / bluetooth , again came out x-kim gaol-bt, appeared again paired, check drivers in the, , again came out of list. uninstall, restart, , again reappeared.

seeing no conventional windows method working, turn community problem.
how uninstall once , device without seeing me in need reinstall operating system in entirety? reading several forums found apparently way solve problem, there must way.

i want clarify have connected same headsets other pc's windows 8.1 , 10 , had't inconvenience, tried andorid , windows phone.

gpu: intel hd graphics 4600
dd: 500 gb
ram: 8gb ddr3

devices in question:
pc bluetooth: intel wireless bluetooth 4.0 + hs adaptor
headsets want remove: x-kim goal-bt

hi alvaro,

bluetooth device may have been reinstalled because of generic drivers pre-loaded windows 10. isolate issue, suggest turn off wifi connection first before removing device. once device , drivers uninstalled, restart computer.

let know if x-kim gaol-bt still reappears.
