Automatic Updates on Windows 10 kills my machine. - Microsoft Community

windows automatic updates killing machine. installed office today , machine running fine. started having problems slow response. when checked task manager windows update running , using 100% disc. have checked settings , there appears no way of controlling when updates installed. when did microsoft become dictatorship , allow users control own machines? should decide when updates installed, if going render machine unusable while installs 50 updates on next hour. 

is there way of controlling when updates installed or tough microsoft in control?

the best way keep pc current turn on automatic updates. automatic updates, don’t have search updates online or possibly miss critical fixes or device drivers windows pc. windows update automatically installs important updates become available. recommend check article know if you're having issues installing windows updates.
