Windows 10- I just lost start menu and taskbar - Microsoft Community

worked last night. have no task bar, , start menu not work. can't open microsoft edge because it's not on task bar, , not on desktop, , can't open start menu.

when open ms word, , minimize can't back.

when open chrome, can use can't minimize it.  i can see apps running in task manager, once opened can't @ them.

did ms have update went bad??

there several options can troubleshoot issue. normally, issue happens when task bar hidden or screen's resolution not compatible monitor.

we suggest hover mouse @ bottom of screen , see if task bar appear. can log in pc using user account , see if issue present on different user profile. create new user account, please follow steps on article.
