Increasing the size of partition C - Microsoft Community

hi!

i'd start i'm not computer geek. here's problem:

since windows partition full, wanted increase it's size using tool windows offers, started shrinking size of partition d 25 gb. unfortunately, unallocated 25 gb cannot added c partition.

what have transfer volume c? please specific can.

i have googled issue, don't want install 3rd party software might prove unreliable.

a reply forum/community specialist more welcomed.

ps: if increase "system reserved" space, computer run better?

a partition must single contiguous space. cannot extend c free space because d in way.

without 3rd party tools option backup d drive, remove altogether, extend c required amount , recreate , restore d.

the fact whole drive on small size if allocated c. if have option consider replacing drive.
