Creators update stuck during restart - Microsoft Community

i have run dism , sfc. changed start options, shut down firewalls , disabled virus protection. cleaned out windows software distribution file.

i running ver. 1607 build 14393-1198

every time try update creators addition, things go smoothly until restart. machine restart several times @ 75% of "working on updates", goes restart , hangs. have blue window , rotating balls," working on updates" or 5 complete does not come back, sits there until frustrated , reboot. on second power cycle install 1607 again , square one.

any suggestions?

have enough free space on system (c:) drive?  20gb+
