Windows speech recognition - Microsoft Community

i use windows speech recognition dictate reports.  after hour, becomes slow, long delays between speaking microphone, , seeing words in print.  is there memory becoming saturated? if so, how delete this?

there number of factors may cause performance issues. need additional information assist better:

• has windows speech recognition (wsr) exhibit performance issues after hour or recent incident? when did issue start?
• is issue happening wsr exclusively or happening other applications?
• have checked if microphone, sound cards , drivers functioning properly?
