Windows 7 installer doesn't recognize SSD, but BIOS does. - Microsoft Community


the ssd has had win7 installed on , worked fine, bricked unknown reasons a little while ago. i'm trying reinstall , overwrite whatever on there, when go through installer, doesn't recognize ssd. bios recognizes drive, drive doesn't show when use diskpart/list disk function. how can installer recognize ssd?

to troubleshoot issue, suggest updating driver solid-state drive , check if issue persists. guide updating, can refer link: update driver hardware isn't working properly.
