Set "active hours" in Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

work on home desktop computer intermittently 7 midnight. windows 10 let me set 12-hr window "active hours," means have worry walking away computer , leaving programs , files open , coming find windows 10 has decided wasn't active , has updated , screwed up. know how either a) go updating when shut down, or b) anything else give me control on when windows updates?

in case, suggest setting choose restart schedule of pc.

  1. open settings and click update & security.
  2. click windows update and under update settings, click restart options.
