Install apps and files on a new win10 computer based on a backed-up - Microsoft Community
at moment question hypothetical.
i have up-to-date system images on external harddisks of laptops.
my question is:
if 1 of laptops got lost or destroyed there problem installing backed-up system image on new laptop?
on new (different) laptop? yes, lots of problems.
on same laptop on image-in-question (not different image) was created? no problem.
Windows / Windows 10 / Windows update, recovery, & backup / PC
