installed trial version of quick heal total security of 324 mb.i preinstalled macafee antivirus.after installing quickheal total security , restarting got know softwares got freeze .i tried several times power button start shift + f8 repeat press enter safe mode , other methods enter safe mode did not responded window+r , msconfig enter didnot responded.please help.

if can't written below reinstall operating system

quick heal antivirus.

mcafee antivirus no doubt expired.

you ever have 1 anti-virus installed otherwise may have systemfreezes, crashes, etc.

read of information below, uninstall both, scan malware , re-start windows defender;

if can't start (boot) pc, follow these instructions windows recovery environment. you'll need connect keyboard complete steps.

1. do 1 of following, depending on whether have installation media (such dvd or usb flash drive):

   • if have installation media windows 8.1, start (or boot) computer installation media. insert dvd or usb flash drive , restart computer. if see message asking “press key boot dvd,” so. if don’t see message, might need change boot order in computer's bios settings first starts dvd or usb. when see install windows page, tap or click repair computer start windows recovery environment.

   • if don’t have installation media, use power button restart computer 3 times. start windows recovery environment.

   • etc.

at present did not have the latest anti-virus protection mcafee subscription has no doubt expired and you are in probability infected malware.

you need remove mcafee , quick heal completely , windows defender started again 3rd party avs disable windows defender (which anti-virus) by default , thorough scan of machine malware.

use mcafee removal tool.

how restart defender:

if you've uninstalled third-party antivirus product (avast!, avg, norton/symantec, mcafee or other product), might see dialog states windows defender turned off. in case, either click action center's white flag icon in taskbar notification area (aka system tray) , click turn on virus protection (important) or turn on spyware protection (important), or open control panel (windows key+x has nice shortcut), type action search field, click action center , click 1 of turn on now buttons in security section.
please note action center might have no red warning icon several days after you've removed third-party virus protection tool.
