Acrobat failed to load its core dll - Windows 2 Go Stick - Microsoft Community

hello everybody,

we're using adobe acrobat dc standard version 2015.006.30279 on windows 2 go sticks in business environment , receive following error message "acrobat failed load it's core dll" @ startup of acrobat.

this error occur on our windows 2 go sticks windows 8.1 64bit installed , have found out, it's reproduceable issue. problem not occur on our workstations , notebooks.

we found out, root cause of problem windows patch/update kb4012216 march 2017 security monthly quality rollup windows 8.1.

after installing patch, acrobat isn't working anymore ("acrobat failed load it's core dll" message appeared). when manually uninstall/rollback patch -> acrobat working again.

it great if have suggestions, workarounds or solution issue.

experienced error message googlechrome "chrome.exe"

"the application unable start correctly (0xc0000022). click ok close application."

uninstall patch "kb4012216" -> works again.

another solution: starting chrome.exe in compatibility mode - windows 7 work (this not work adobe acrobat)
