I have lost email addresses from my categories - Windows Live Mail - Microsoft Community

have lost email addresses categories - randomly, there handful of addresses in of them (not added, either). can recover these? why has happened? second time i've lost addresses wlm - can suggest alternative program more stable, , doesn't cause me constant nightmares! i'm using windows live mail 2011, on windows 7 64bit
