ERROR Message: Installation/permissions error: Unable to - Microsoft Community

i have alienware 17 laptop , attempting load mmorpg named wwii online.  

i had previous version deleted year or more ago.

after downloading , installing program starts, gives me following error message:

installation/permissions error: unable access user data folder. please try reinstalling.

path: u:\battleground europe\battleground europe\

u: location on our work server.  i installed game in d: drive on laptop rather smaller c: drive.

i have attempted reinstall...to no avail.

any suggestions?
