Windows 10 boot error 0xc00000034 | Can not even reinstall - Microsoft Community

hello all,

running extremely annoying issue , hoping expert inputs here. try detailed possible. here sequence of events , effort fix issue.

1) bought brand new laptop dell vostro 3559 came preinstalled windows 7 german version.
2) had upgraded windows 10 using disk got pc
3) yesterday windows 10 installing updates 4-5 hours , hard reset pc (pressing power button)
4) later startup trying restore previous version of windows , hung.
5) used dvd disk again reinstall windows 10 (recovery using drive > complete cleanup)
6) after 92%, got following screen (please see screenshot)

7) later ran following commands recommended people here

bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd

first 2 commands ran fine third 1 gave me following error yet fix. did clean reinstall of windows second time well.

scanned windows installations.
total identified windows installations: 1
[1]  c:\windows
add installation boot list? yes<y>/no<n>/all<a>: a

operation not succeed due i/o device error.

should ?,  never faced such looping issue on windows ever before.

step 4, when @ command prompt run these options :-
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd

reply mentioned in message tried these steps , getting i/o device error while running last command /rebuildbcd

check.

need run these commands after switching c: drive or should run x:/windows default directory see when boot disk.
