Installing Windows updates causes black screen after boot - Microsoft Community

has else encountered this? after installing latest windows updates, laptop has black screen after boot up. i've had reimage reverse damage , subsequently lost lot of software installed (like ms office).

i've managed change settings windows update won't auto install, encountering issues not having latest drivers needed run things itunes.

my laptop perfect before , i'm not sure steps take...

any advice appreciated!

if windows update causes windows not start,  use whichever method works accessing advanced startup options in windows 10 run system restore before update.  may need boot the windows 10 installation media  or windows 10 recovery drive this.

then identify update responsible - process of elimination if necessary - , hide using special tool provided in how delay, block software updates in windows 10.
