Windows 10 stuck at installing upgrades - Microsoft Community

after downloading upgrades, pc restarted finishing installing upgrades stuck installing @ part background black , white circling moving in middle. had cancel upgrade force shutting down , automatically restored previous version of windows. trouble shooted upgrade problems, computer couldn't find any. also, every time click power button shut down, ti ask me upgrade shut down gets stuck in part again.

in meantime, suggest follow these troubleshooting steps:

method 1:

if have anti-virus software installed on computer, disable it.

disclaimer: if have temporarily disable install other software, should re-enable you're done. if you're connected internet or network while anti-virus software disabled, computer vulnerable attacks.

method 2:

perform clean boot , try installing update. check if issue persists. may refer microsoft article more information.
