NVidia update from 12/29/16 failing (GT 620) - Microsoft Community

the recent driver update windows update causing video card fail.

specifically, installation fails error.  which causes whole card go unrecognized.  i've tried manually installing latest drivers nvidia (378.66) keep windows installing driver update, drivers appear have similar problem them.

re-course re-install old drivers came machine (~ 2 years old) , wait windows try , overwrite drivers again, replace old ones, etc... etc... etc...  each time, requiring restart...

i've tried hiding update using ms tool: nvidia update doesn't appear in list.

i've tried disabling driver update through advanced system settings: doesn't appear @ all.

to better concern, may know if experiencing issues using computer when comes graphics?
