should I update my windows 10 build? - Microsoft Community

here deal, question above a critical question me, should update build because current build "version 10.0 (build 10240)" , have problems installing , update build including "77% stuck".i need advice catch other fellow windows operators .if problem can occur on specific pc laptops, here laptop ( toshiba satellite c55-b5201)

the current public release id 14393.693.

if want there use media creation tool.  read instructions.

this gets 14393.0 , can update 14393.693.  may number of updates.

make sure have no 3rd party antivirus, security, cleanup programs installed.  if uninstall tool.  not disable.

also remove attached items connected usb, sd card, etc.
