Random empty black Command Prompt box popping up once in awhile. - Microsoft Community

hi , in advance taking time check post out! on sidenote, sort of... leapt dealing problem on own. searched as possible , did things best of ability.

so few days ago noticed random black box popping few seconds every , on screen. upon further investigation, realized empty command prompt box. started searching might , determined sort of spyware/malware or along lines of that. i'd assumed culprit might've been torrent file stupidly downloaded. didn't quite know @ time when saw file sitting there deleted it.

so here's did:

1. i had avg scan sd card , laptop several times , thoroughly possible. sure enough, nothing came up.
2. so downloaded malwarebytes , had scan laptop. several pup's came , took care of well. had scan sd card , seemed alright.
3. i rescanned system few more times , did factory reset.
4. after factory reset used built in option thing create recovery partition on usb in case. windows 8.1 laptop didn't come cd.
5. once did restarted laptop , pressed f11 open other... menu thing (i forgot called, sorry).
6. from there opened command prompt , put in diskpart. supposedly able clean/format/delete volumes/partitions/disk. when had list volumes said there none. had list partitions , said "there no partitions on disk show". , i'd cleaned disk. thought mission success.
7. after inserted usb , had factory reset. chose option "repartition" instead of... think said "using old ones" or that.
8. so once done, reinstalled malwarebytes , avg , repeated steps 1 , 2. nothing came up.
9. i still paranoid, went on continue steps 3,5,6,7.
10. after of that, reinstalled malwarebytes , avg have them scan of stuff again , seemed well.

so, yesterday used laptop day practically nonstop until late @ night. never once saw empty command prompt thing pop again.

however, morning turned on laptop usual , click on google chrome saw pop moment... now, faster seeing before, couldn't sure was. looked little smaller, seemed black/blank , popped once far (its been 3 hours since). guessed might have been updates or whatever, don't want dismiss either... restarted laptop couple times , waited see if happen again , didn't.

so went on repeat step 1 , nothing came up..

ultimately, want know if nothing or if did enough before , panicking pointlessly...

am safe , freaking out no reason..?
