USB keyboard not functioning in Bitlocker screen on boot up - Microsoft Community

the situation:

- first time setting bitlocker on home desktop c: drive

- enabled bitlocker without tmp security through group policy + set-up pin code

- pc has "fast boot" setting turned on

problem:

- on reboot bitlocker screen appears asking pin code. but, usb keyboard not function.

- cannot enter pin, cannot enter bios

tried available usb ports on tower no avail. have been searching internet, far solutions are: "try on screen keyboard" (no can do, not surface), or "go bios" (no can do, keyboard not working during step of boot presumably due fast boot), or "change x setting in group policy" (no can since can't past bitlocker screen).

very in need of desktop unusable. in advance

let's try isolate issue , see preventing using usb keyboard. kindly provide following information:

• what exact windows version using?
• have tried connecting other usb device check if detect computer? (note: computer produce sound indicate detected.)
• while computer booting up, can check if can go safe mode?
• can send screenshot showing bitlocker screen being prompted you?
