used glary utilities find files largest on desktop, , found 88.23 gigabyte file entitled mfeicfcoredebug.log. file path it's in this: computer - local disk (c:) - programdata - internet content filter - app-support, if matters. want know .log file is, , if it's important, , why on earth it's 88 gigabytes.

in general, log file record of transactions.

in case, "mfeicfcore" related mcafee's internet content filter, understand part of mcafee's parental controls software.

"debug" in name of log file indicates should enabled in order troubleshoot problem.  debug log file intelligible intimately familiar program.  in case, presumably mcafee tech support.

given don't know file, can safely delete it.  however, if growing, , if comes after delete it, you'll need in touch mcafee tech support find out how disable debug logging internet content filter.
