MS Update problem - Microsoft Community

microsoft tries load ms update # kb4013429 on computer, every time not being used, or when shut down.

it takes of hour try install it, after gets through, says :

we couldn't complete update - undoing changes. takes thirty more minutes.

this has been going on several days, , seems getting worse each time.

i see can't stop automatic updates in windows ten .

mine 1 year old dell inspiron computer came windows ten installed.

any ideas  ?

there several factors why computer won't update , that's going figure out. before proceed in troubleshooting, may know following:

  • any changes made on computer prior concern?
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?
  • can send screenshot error message getting when trying update computer? note: please not include personal information.
